Hello Luna is an alt-rock band that blends smooth pop vocals with varying dynamics of indie rock
instrumentation. Kenzie Coyne (vocals/rhythm guitar) was recording demos as a solo singer/songwriter when she met drummer Michael Neumaier, thus deciding to make the move from solo artist to a group project. Next, the band found Diego Villasmil (bass). Each member has been musically involved in separate projects over the past decade, but Kenzie, Michael, and Diego have been working on Hello Luna since January 2016. Off their recent success, they added Eric Morgan (lead guitar).
On March 11th, 2017 Hello Luna played to a sold out crowd of over 300 people at The Basement, a PromoWest Productions venue, celebrating the physical release of their first EP titled "Ghost Of You" which contains the band's first official radio single ”Sound and Sorrow”.
Hello Luna has been featured in Columbus Alive, OSU's "The Lantern", and Music in Motion in addition to air time on CD 102.5 and 99.7 The Blitz.
